Hello everyone! Today you can see me helping Mummy change the bed. I was checking that there were no spiders lurking under the pillows!
I have been allowed to play in the garden quite a lot as it has been sunny. It does mean I have to do a stint in my pen but Mummy lets me out if she is in the garden. Slip and I chase each other – I always escape up a tree and she cannot get me. There are masses of insects for me to chase as I walk through the grass.
I was in trouble last night over the vase of irises incident. I knocked them over and the water went all over the floor – luckily the vase did not break. Later on, I sneaked into the kitchen by opening the door very quietly and stole a roast potato – more grumbles!
I am 7 months old on Friday – it seems I have lived here for ever. I am having an extra pouch of Whiskas each day to build up my muscles, Mummy says I am about half grown.
Slip and Daddy have gone fishing for the day. Mummy and I are going out to water the greenhouse now. I like the greenhouse as it is very warm in there and there are lots of insects! Back soon.

This strange looking object is my new toy. It is a 3 way tunnel that makes the most exciting rustling noises when I am in it. It is excellent for hiding in and there is a hole where the three arms of the tunnel meet and I can leap out and scare Slip!
We have had wet weather here and so I have been allowed to stay indoors all day. Mummy has allowed me to go into the kitchen whilst Daddy is away. It is a wonderful room full of cupboards and machines, I like getting in the washing machine – Slip says it is dangerous as Mummy might turn it on and I should be washed and spun to within an inch of my life. The dishwasher is good too – there are often bits of food in it – I found some crab and spaghetti today!
I shall be 7 months old on June 11th but, apparently, I am not classed as a Cat until I am one – I keep my kitten status until then.
I was in a bit of trouble this morning as I stole a ball of Kidsilk Haze out of Mummy’s knitting bag and undid it and now it is useless. Kidsilk Haze is the only yarn I touch – quality cats want quality yarns!
Now Slip and I are going to have a game – Mummy throws the knitted mouse and we see who can get to it first. I usually win as I am faster on corners than Slip. Back soon.

As you can see from the photo, I am very tired today. I was taking my mid morning snooze on the window cill and suddenly thousands of birds appeared. Slip said they are called Starlings. They were everywhere – on the lawn, in the trees. on the patio and on the roof. There were baby ones and their parents were feeding them. I was so excited and swore at them from inside. If only I had been out in my run, I am sure I could have caught one as they were in the run feeding on the nuts that Mummy puts out for the finches. They stayed for ages – I was exhausted with the frustration of watching them.
Daddy has gone away but Mummy says that she does not think it a good idea for me to sleep in bed with her as I might get to like it and Daddy will not allow it when he comes back. Also Slip might come onto the bed too!
I have been allowed out to play quite a lot – Mummy watches me all the time and, it seems as long as I stay where she can see me, it is OK. I have caught several insects but no mice or birds – my day will come.
Now we are going to watch TV and have a cuddle!

Today’s video shows me really high up in the walnut tree. You can hear Daddy grumbling at Mummy in the background. The batteries in Mummy’s camera ran out but I did come down unaided! It is very frustrating as just when I am nearly in reach of a bird, it flies away. A nasty big black bird came and squawked at me and made threatening gestures with its beak. Mummy said it was a Jackdaw and sometimes they come in big groups and mob cats. I shall give them a wide berth.
Apparently there is a bird’s nest in the open fronted shed – Slip says it is a robin’s nest and there are six eggs in it. I have heard tell that robins are bitter to eat but I would like to try one. I have never had bird or mouse – only spider and ladybird!
I was allowed to sleep out of my cage last night and I cuddled up with Slip but she snored so much that in the end I went back to my own bed. I was up at 5.0am and watched the sun rise. Mummy says she is going to take the cage away soon and then I will be free all the time.
Now I am going to read my book, it is called ” Ten tips for having the upper paw in the home”, Back tomorrow!

I have been climbing again today. I scaled the apple tree and then jumped down to the ground. Mummy missed that bit when she was taking the film as she did not expect me to jump. I am not going to write much as I am VERY tired after all this activity and am going to have a sleep now. I have another film for you tomorrow!

Today I escaped into the garden and promptly scaled the apple tree! I am high in the branches as you can see! My wild relatives live in trees and it is obviously in my blood to climb. Daddy was cross, muttering about fire brigades and ladders but I was able to descend unaided.
Mummy received my papers today – these came from the breeder and have to be sent to the The International Cat Association in Texas – I will be transferred to Mummy. I see it says that my full name is Silverglam Jackson – this is because my feline Mummy is a Silver Bengal. The Silver Bengals are crossed with the Brown Bengals to keep our tummies white!
Slip has hot mouth as she ate some scraps that were on the lawn and there were lots of jalapenos in the meat – serves her right!
Now I am going to do a little curtain climbing! Back soon!

Todays photo shows me having a snooze with my hot water bottle – called hottie for short. I love sitting in Mummy’s chair as I can stretch right out. Periodically she takes hottie away and then brings it back warmer than ever.
Yesterday I was outside in my pen for a long time. When I was brought in, I sat by the patio door and watched 2 ducks that Mummy feeds everyday. She opened the door to throw them some bread and I sneaked out between her legs and nearly caught the duck. I ran miles after her but eventually she was able to take off and fly away.
We are having roast pork today – I can smell it roasting. Now I am going to snooze again as a warmed up hottie is on its way!

I was confined to my run again today. In the video above I was summoning Slip for assistance in opening the door, but, as you can see, she was no help at all. I was allowed to play free in the garden for a little while this morning. I had a great time chasing insects and hiding in the laurel bushes and leaping out at Slip.
I am feeling a lot better after my op and my bottom is not so sore. Mummy has sent the letter saying I am no longer entire to my breeder and she will transfer my ownership to Mummy. I can now enter cat shows for Young Neutered Males – hmm, I wonder what the prizes are.
I am going to have my dinner now, it is Tuna Whiskas which I like best of all. Back tomorrow,

I am back from my operation! It was awful. I was not allowed any breakfast this morning and I was starving! Then I was bundled in my basket and put in the back of the Land Rover with Slip. I ask you! I am a special cat and should travel in style – not in the back of a Land Rover. When we got to the vets I was handed over and had to wait a long time in a pen. Then someone stuck something in my leg and I do not remember much more. Now I am home and my bottom is so sore. I am getting a special supper of Roast Beef as a treat and I have to rest for the next 24 hours. So I must go back to bed - I will write more tomorrow when I feel better!

My fate is sealed! I am to report to the Vet at 8.0am on Monday for my operation. I am very worried about this but Slip says it will be OK and I am sure to get lots of presents afterwards. I do not have to stay in overnight and Mummy will collect me in the afternoon.
I am pleased to report that I can open all door handles – all it takes is a good leap and then hang onto the handle and it comes down and I can slide my paw in and open the door. Only trouble is Daddy is talking about turning the handles upside down to thwart me!
We are going to stay up very late tonight to watch the election results on TV and we are going to have popcorn and wine – I am only allowed the cork but it sometimes does have a drop or two of wine on it. So I must have a nap now so that I can stay awake! Back tomorrow.
